  1. 報名費:$50/人(耆英組、壯年組及青年組)或$100/組(雙人組)。每位成功報名並出席初賽者,將獲得美國味全$50之等值商品。

  6. 報名人數下限: 耆英組、壯年組及青年組各小組報名人數至少須有六位;雙人組報名對數至少須有六對 (pair),否則取消該小組比賽。 
  7. 美國味全將於 10/04/2024 前通知報名成功者,並將同時告知出場順序抽籤及試音規則。抽籤日期暫定於10/07/2024(星期一)-10/11/2024(星期五),每日09:00-17:30間親自至美國味全公司(13031 Temple Ave, City Of Industry, CA 91746) 抽出, 詳細時間及辦法可能視屆時情況調整。參賽者經通知後逾時(10/18/2024 17:30前)或未到抽籤者,主辦單位將代抽初賽出場序,參賽者不得異議。
  8. 若符合報名資格但因報名表件填寫不完整,且經承辦單位通知後 3 日內未完成補正者,將視同放棄參賽資格,不得異議;另報名表件請自留底稿,承辦單位不予退還。
  9. 報名額滿或資格不符者而未進入初賽之報名者主辦單位將不另行通知,但主辦單位將寄回支票給報名者並將報名費全數退還。
  10. 初賽比賽流程表將於10/31/2024前公佈於活動網頁上; 決賽比賽流程表將於11/30/2024公佈於活動網頁上,恕不再另行通知。
參賽須知:
  1. 職業歌手或從事音樂相關職業者不得參賽,參賽選手亦不得冒名頂替或重複報名。
  2. 比賽當天請攜帶身分證明文件,以供主辦單位核對。
  3. 初賽及決賽報到時間將各別發送通知及流程表給參賽者,以發送内容爲準。以下第4-7點報到時間僅供參考。
  4. 初賽各組於前台分別報到。初賽第一組請於9:20報到;初賽其餘各組請於10:30前完成報到。

  7. 每日比賽第一組需於 9:20 AM報到後立即進入後台。除第一組外之所有初賽及決賽參賽者皆須於本組比賽的 30 分鐘前進入後台準備出場。 
  8. 入圍決賽者必須於2024年12 月 13 日 (星期五) 01:00 PM至03:00 PM,到洛杉磯華僑文教服務中心 (9443 Telstar Avenue, El Monte, CA 91731),參加試音。
  9. 參賽者於初賽及決賽時不得唱同一首歌。
  10. 比賽進行中,參賽者必須遵守自己上場的順序。參賽者應上場比賽而未到場,或以任何理由改變出場順序,皆以棄權論。 
  11. 參賽曲經完成報名手續後,則不得任意更換。
  12. 比賽主持人唱號上台,過號一律視為棄權,不得要求補賽。參賽者應服從評審之裁決,不得異議。
  13. 評審團完成評分後,初賽當場公布入圍決賽者; 入圍決賽者請於離開會場前至服務台抽出決賽出場順序。未抽籤之決賽入圍者,主辦單位將代抽決賽出場序,參賽者不得異議。
  14. 所有入圍決賽者必須於初賽現場公佈入圍者後認購決賽入場券,並現場以現金繳清全部金額。決賽入場券每張$10,每位入圍者必需認購10張。未能現場繳清須認購決賽入場券之全部金額者,喪失決賽資格,該空缺由下一名次者遞補。
  15. 決賽當場公佈名次及所有獎項,並進行頒獎。
  16. 參賽歌曲不得超過五分鐘。若參賽歌曲超過五分鐘,大會將於五分鐘時,強制切歌,參賽者必須立刻停止歌唱, 立刻退場,否則以棄權論。但評審委員評分,不受五分鐘限制影響評分。 
  17. 音樂格式須為已經把原唱者聲音消音的 MP3、MP4 或 MOV 檔。參賽者可依以下兩種方式之一提供音樂:
  18. 美國味全在收到音樂檔後,將協助審視其是否可使用,並聯繫音樂檔無法使用的參賽者。請收到聯繫的參賽者在一週內提供修正後的音樂檔。未及時提供修正音樂檔或主辦單位無法聯繫到之參賽者,可在比賽當天提供修正音樂檔,但主辦單位及協辦單位不會協助事前確認檔案是否正確,若音樂出現狀況,參賽者需自行承擔責任。決賽入圍者需於12/5/2024前提交USB音樂檔給主辦單位測試。 
  19. 不接受 iPod、iPad,手機及任何平板電腦播放音樂。 亦不接受 LDCDDVDVCD Video Tape 及 Tape 
  20. 主辦單位無法提供在任何音樂檔上協助消音或升降Key的服務,請知悉。若有其他需注意細節,如「音樂 15 秒鐘才會出來」、「音樂聲音很小,請放大」等事宜,請於報名表中清楚註明。 
  21. 若提供的音樂檔USB drives 無法使用或原唱者聲音無法消音,參賽者必須棄權或清唱。
  22. 大會統一設定麥克風的音量及迴音,參賽者不得要求變更,以示公平。 
  23. 參賽者出場前要佩戴號碼牌,退場後請立即歸還。 
  24. 保持後台安靜,參賽者避免在後台中練唱。 
  25. 參賽者請勿進入音響控制區。參賽者不得干擾音響師。參賽者退場後請離開後台及化妝室。 
  26. 比賽期間,參賽者不得私下與評審委員討論與比賽有關之任何事項,否則大會保留取消參賽者資格之權利。 
  27. 出場後如發生下列狀況(音樂沒有消音, 音樂的 Key 錯誤,音樂播放錯誤, 麥克風拿錯,麥克風電源不足的紅燈亮起),參賽者立即退到後台,向報幕小組告知狀況,報幕小組立即通知評審接待組人員。評審接待組人員與評審委員立即共同妥善商議處理。狀況解決後,若決議參賽者可以重唱,將請參賽者再度出場重新演唱。評審委員評分不受狀況影響。
  28. 如果大會音響設備出現技術上的錯誤,參賽者有權在開始唱的頭三十秒內,退到後台,選擇重唱。 若超過三十秒而繼續唱,則自動放棄重唱的權利。
  29. 上台後請直接演唱,請勿發言。唱完後請直接退場,請勿發言。 
  30. 初賽時,無燈光服務。決賽時,燈光由燈光師統一處理,不接受個別要求變更,以示公平。 
  31. 美國味全食品公司(主辦單位)為此活動備有攝影師及錄影師,於初賽及決賽現場拍攝相片及錄影。參賽者只要出場比賽即表示該參賽者同意放棄對該相片及視頻的擁有權及個人的肖像權。本公司保留所有相片及影片之擁有權,並保留把該相片及視頻上傳本會官網及發至社群媒體及新聞媒體的權利,參賽者不得異議。
  32. 承辦單位保留終止、修改、取消本活動以及相關內容變更、解釋之權利; 如有未盡事宜或最新訊息,將於美國味全官網公布,恕不另行通知。
  33. 美國味全工作人員不得參加

比賽評審:由主辦單位邀請音樂或相關專業人士擔任。

(1). 滿分100分,小數點後保留兩位數。

(2). 九位評審評分後,去除最高及最低評分各一,加總評分數,得出總積分。

(3). 以現場評審委員評分結果排列名次,此次比賽本單位採用星光電子評分系統,評分結果將於演唱後以電郵email直接傳送給該名參賽者。

Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

Please read the instructions carefully before submitting. By submitting your entry, you agree to our rules.


1. Eligibility: Wei-Chuan USA Travel the World Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to residents of the fifty states of the US (including the District of Columbia) who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Each winner must have a valid social security number or a valid personal tax identification or he/she will be ineligible to win a prize. Employees of Wei-Chuan USA, Inc., as well as their immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, children, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and household members of each such employee, whether or not related, are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, municipal, territorial, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s and administrator’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

3. Timing: The Sweepstakes begins October 1, 2023 at 12 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (“PST”) and ends February 16, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. PST (the “Promotion Period). The postmark date on the envelope will be regarded as the date of participation.

4. How to enter:

During the Promotion Period, there are two (2) ways to enter the Sweepstakes, as outlined below.

a. Purchase any 2 packs of the specified product series in any flavor from the following Wei-Chuan products:

Send a photo or electronic copy of your receipt, along with your personal information (name, address, phone number, email address, the supermarket’s name and location where the purchase was made, and how you learned about this promotion) to marketing@weichuanusa.com, or enclose the physical receipt with your personal information in an envelope, affix the appropriate postage, and mail it to ‘13031 Temple Ave, City Of Industry, CA 91746, Wei Chuan USA, Inc. Marketing Department’ (please indicate ‘Travel the World Sweepstakes’). The more entries you send, the higher your chances of winning! All entries must be mailed out by the end of the Promotion Period to be eligible for the drawing. Incorrect and incomplete entries will be void.

b. Alternate Method of Entry: Alternatively, you may enter by printing your name, address, day and evening phone numbers, email address, and date of birth on a piece of paper. Mail it in an envelope with proper postage to Wei-Chuan USA, Inc., titled “Travel the World Sweepstake – AMOE,” attention: Marketing Department, at 13031 Temple Ave, City of Industry, CA 91746. You must also include a letter sharing your creative recipe using Wei-Chuan USA products.

 All entries must be complete and legible to be considered valid. Entries must be received by the end of the Promotion Period to be eligible for the drawing. Incorrect and incomplete entries will be void. (Both methods of entry are collectively referred to as the “Submission”.

Your Submission may not be indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, libelous, contain material that violates or infringes another’s rights, disparages Sponsor, administrator, or any other person or party, or contain material that is unlawful in any way. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Submission that it finds unlawful or in violation of these Official Rules, all in its sole discretion. Limit: one (1) entry per stamped outer envelope. All mail-in entries must be handwritten and must be received by the end of the Promotion Period. All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and none will be acknowledged or returned. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, illegible, inaccurate, misdirected, or postage-due entries, which will be disqualified.

5. Limit: There is no limit to the number of entries each individual can receive throughout the Promotion Period, however, you can only submit one (1) entry per stamped outer envelope.

6. Prize Drawings:
Sweepstakes winners (“Prize Winners”) will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period on approximately February 23rd, 2024 and will be contacted by phone or email on or about five (5) business days following the drawing. Sponsor’s decisions with respect to the Prize Winners, these Official Rules, and all other matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes shall be final and binding.

Prize Winners will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability and publicity (where permitted), and return the same, properly executed, within five (5) days of issuance of prize notification. If Wei-Chuan USA is unable to contact the prospective Prize Winner within three (3) days from first notification attempt, if the prospective Prize Winner fails to complete and return all requested forms by the specified date, or if the prospective Prize Winner fails to comply with any of the requirements, his/her prize will be forfeited and an alternate prospective winner shall be selected. The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

7. Prizes:
Grand Prizes: Ten (10) grand prizes will be awarded, each consisting of a $5,000 travel voucher (each, a ‘Grand Prize’). The total approximate retail value (‘ARV’) of all Grand Prizes is $50,000.

First Prizes: Twenty (20) first prizes will be awarded, each consisting of a $1,500 travel voucher (each, a ‘First Prize’). The total ARV of all First Prizes is $30,000.

The total ARV of all prizes to be awarded is $80,000.

11. Prize Restrictions: All prizes are non-transferable or assignable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion or as otherwise provided herein. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prizes. In the case of unavailability of any prize, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Each prize winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes, including taxes imposed on his/her income. No more than the stated number of prizes set forth in these Official Rules will be awarded. Potential Prize Winners consent to the use of his/her name, likeness, biographical information, testimonial, and voice in advertising worldwide without additional compensation.

12. Privacy: By participating in the Sweepstakes, you hereby agree to Wei-Chuan USA’s collection and usage of your personal information. Wei-Chuan USA will retain your personal data for a reasonable period of time to enable it to send any prize that you may have won and to verify that these Official Rules have been complied with, and for accounting purposes. Additionally, you agree to receive promotional emails and reminders for upcoming promotions and information about Wei-Chuan USA. Any use of your personal data will be in accordance with, and subject to, Wei-Chuan USA’s Privacy Policy.

13. Publicity: By participating in the Sweepstakes, except where prohibited by law, all Prize Winners grant Wei-Chuan USA permission to use their names, character, likeness, photographs, voices, testimonials, opinions and/or hometown and state world-wide, in perpetuity, in any and all media now known or hereinafter invented in any and all marketing and promotional materials and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such uses without further payment or consideration, notification, or permission. All Prize Winners agree that such uses may also be edited or used in derivative works, without Prize Winners’ participation, and that all such use shall be and remain the sole property of Wei-Chuan USA, its successors, assigns, and licensees.

14. Release: No liability or responsibility is assumed by Sponsor resulting from your participation or attempt to participate in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for any errors in these Official Rules, the Sweepstakes materials, or the announcement of Prize Winners, including but not limited to such errors that a prize may have been won. As a condition of entering, entrants (or their parent or legal guardian if an eligible minor) agree, and agree to confirm in writing: (a) to release Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, retailers, and agents, and the platforms on which the Sweepstakes is conducted including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Google, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents (“Sweepstakes Parties”), from any and all liability, loss or damage incurred with respect to the awarding, receipt, possession, and/or use or misuse of any prize; (b) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby knowingly and expressly waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses and/or any rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased; (c) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (d) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred (if any), excluding attorneys’ fees and court costs.

General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If terminated, Sponsor may, at its discretion, select winner(s) for the drawing(s) at issue from among all non-suspect, eligible entries received for such drawing(s) up to time of such action or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other Sweepstakes or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages (including attorneys’ fees) and other legal remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

Since 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has affected every aspect of people’s lives and its impact is still far from over with ongoing variants of concern.
More recently, COVID-19 has disproportionately affected children, and its long-term effects on their nervous system remain unknown.
The COVID-19 pandemic has pushed the already burdened healthcare system to the brink of collapse, with record numbers of healthcare workers leaving the field after feeling burnt out.
Some like TJ Lee have been wondering, “What can I do to help?”

TJ Lee, originally from San Francisco and now working full-time as a blogger in New York, is passionate about food and travel.
In 2016, TJ gave up her high-salary job to start a career on social media. Today, TJ has accumulated over 45 million views and 415K subscribers on her Youtube channel, @CupofTJ. On her channel, one can spot her all over the world trying out exotic food and partnering with charities to support local businesses and communities.
And this is why TJ is partnering with Wei-Chuan U.S.A this coming July to launch a special charity project on Wei-Chuan U.S.A’s 50th anniversary, along with LA Weekly Asia, to use her online presence to send love and thank the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles’ medical staff, who have been working tirelessly since the beginning of the pandemic.
When asked how TJ got involved, she mentioned that “Wei-Chuan U.S.A is a well-known brand and my fondest childhood memory. This charity event holds great significance because it both celebrates Wei-Chuan U.S.A’s 50th anniversary and honors the healthcare workers, who have been standing on the frontlines to protect children’s health. This is why I said yes in a heartbeat.”
“Oh and of course, Wei-Chuan U.S.A’s dumplings are always a must-buy in my shopping cart because it is so delicious and very convenient for my busy schedule,” TJ chimed further.

In the past year, all of us have kept home to stay safe and healthy. Because indoor dining was closed, cooking at home and learning new recipes became the best solution to keep safe while still enjoying delicious food. Who knew that many amazing chefs would be born in this time period. Therefore, Wei-Chuan USA would like to know what recipes you have come up with! We want to showcase your cooking skill while using our products. 

Send us your pictures to get a chance to be featured on our social media pages. Participants will also a receive a chance to win a $20 gift card!
