5. What is the difference between dumplings, gyoza, and potstickers?

While all our products offer mouthwatering flavors and savory aromas, each of these Chinese cuisine favorites have distinct features that make them stand out. Here’s a quick primer to tell them apart:

Your tried and true dumplings are often boiled or steamed and served with dipping sauces.

Gyoza, on the other hand, are typically pan-fried, giving them a crispy bottom, although they can also be steamed or boiled.

Of course, feel free to cook them any way you like! Our creative recipes can also serve as a source of fun inspiration in your culinary adventures.

Finally, potstickers are essentially a type of dumpling that has been pan-fried, and their name comes from the way they stick to the pan due to the crispy bottom layer. In terms of size, potstickers are usually larger than gyoza.

6. Are your products made in the USA?

9. Do your products contain peanuts, tree nuts, or any allergens?

All major allergens are listed in the ingredient statement on the package and on our product webpage. The allergen contains a statement that lists the major 9 allergens identified by the FDA which include the following: milk, eggs, fish (e.g., bass, cod, or flounder), crustacean shellfish (e.g., crab, lobster, or shrimp), tree nuts (e.g., almonds, pecans, or walnuts), peanuts, wheat, soybeans, and sesame. Please read the ingredients statement carefully before purchasing products.

Feel free to contact us using our Contact page if you have any concerns regarding allergens.

10. Is your product safe if it carries a Proposition 65 warning?

A Proposition 65 warning does not necessarily mean a product is in violation of any product-safety standards or requirements. All the products which we sell to consumers are compliant to the regulations of the USDA FSIS, Federal Food Drug and Cosmetic Act, and all other applicable Federal or State law. Furthermore, we conduct HACCP analysis on the products using HACCP principles to identify hazards and to eliminate, reduce, or prevent hazards from occurring.

California Proposition-65 is meant “to notify consumers that they are being exposed to chemicals that are known [to the state of California] to cause cancer and/or reproductive toxicity.” This Act requires a warning on all commercial products selling in the state of California. The purpose of the warning is to notify consumers that they can be exposed to chemicals that are listed at link below in approximately 900 chemicals as of January 2020.
