Responsibilities

  • Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 80 degrees required
  • Able to read and write legibly; basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • OSHA compliant Forklift Certification is plus
  • Unload/load inbound and outbound trucks
  • Receives incoming shipments, checking the packing slip with actual shipment for completeness and accuracy before placement in appropriate warehouse location
  • Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, investigate discrepancies and report discrepancies that require adjustments to supervisors
  • Ensure warehouse are neat and clean
  • Engage customers and drivers with a positive attitude
  • Use lists to dispense and receive information including product codes and customer pre-orders
  • Place items on a pallet and rack ensuring product integrity, stability and safety
  • Operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
  • Able to twist, lift, carry, push, pull Frozen / Dry products lift up to 50 lbs
  • Performing inventory daily cycle counts
