Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

Please read the instructions carefully before submitting. By submitting your entry, you agree to our rules.

  1. Eligibility: Wei-Chuan USA 50th Anniversary Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to residents of the fifty states of the US (including the District of Columbia) who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Each winner must have a valid social security number or a valid personal tax identification or he/she will be ineligible to win a prize. Employees of Wei-Chuan USA, Inc., as well as their immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, children, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and household members of each such employee, whether or not related, are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, municipal, territorial, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s and administrator’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

During the Promotion Period, there are two (2) ways to enter the Sweepstakes, as outlined below.

Print your name, address, phone number, email address, and the store and city you purchased the products. Mail the two specified product barcodes and the complete entry form in an envelope to Wei-Chuan U.S.A., Inc., title “50th Anniversary Sweepstake”, attention: Marketing Department, to 13031 Temple Ave, City of Industry, CA 91746. The more you submit, the higher your chance to win! All entries must be mailed out by the end of the Promotion Period to be eligible for the drawing. Incorrect and incomplete entries are void.

b. Alternate Method of Entry: Alternatively, you may enter by printing your name, address, day and evening phone numbers, email address, and date of birth on a piece of paper and mail it in an envelope with proper postage to Wei-Chuan USA., Inc., title “50th Anniversary Sweepstake – AMOE”, attention: Marketing Department, to 13031 Temple Ave, City of Industry, CA 91746. You must also include a letter sharing your beautiful memories associated with Wei-Chuan USA. All entries must be complete and legible to be valid. The more you submit, the higher chance to win. All entries must be received by the end of the Promotion Period to be eligible for the drawing. Incorrect and incomplete entries are void (each two methods of entry, collectively, the “Submission”).

Your Submission may not be indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, libelous, contain material that violates or infringes another’s rights, disparages Sponsor, administrator, or any other person or party, or contain material that is unlawful in any way. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Submission that it finds unlawful or in violation of these Official Rules, all in its sole discretion. Limit: one (1) entry per stamped outer envelope. All mail-in entries must be handwritten and must be received by the end of the Promotion Period. All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and none will be acknowledged or returned. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, illegible, inaccurate, misdirected, or postage-due entries, which will be disqualified.

  1. Limit: There is no limit to the number of entries each individual can receive throughout the Promotion Period, however, you can only submit one (1) entry per stamped outer envelope.
  2. Prize Drawings:

Sweepstakes winners (“Prize Winners”) will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period on approximately September 16th, 2022 and will be contacted by phone or email on or about five (5) business days following the drawing. Sponsor’s decisions with respect to the Prize Winners, these Official Rules, and all other matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes shall be final and binding.

Prize Winners will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability and publicity (where permitted), and return same, properly executed, within five (5) days of issuance of prize notification. If Wei-Chuan USA is unable to contact the prospective Prize Winner within three (3) days from first notification attempt, if the prospective Prize Winner fails to complete and return all requested forms by the specified date, or if the prospective Prize Winner fails to comply with any of the requirements, his/her prize will be forfeited and an alternate prospective winner shall be selected. The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

  1. Prizes:

Grand Prizes: Two (2) grand prizes will be awarded, each consisting of an 82” Smart TV (each, a “Grand Prize”). Total approximate retail value (“ARV”) of all Grand Prizes is $3,600.

First Prizes: Four (4) first prizes will be awarded, each consisting of a 13.3” laptop (each, a “First Prize”). Total ARV of all First Prizes is $3,996.

Second Prizes: Six (6) second prizes will be awarded, each consisting of a  Smart Phone 13 (each, a “Second Prize”). Total ARV of all Second Prizes is $4,974.

Third Prizes: Eight (8) third prizes will be awarded, each consisting of an All-Screen Mini Pad (each, a “Third Prize”). Total ARV of all Third Prizes is $3,992.

Fourth Prizes: Eight (8) fourth prizes will be awarded, each consisting of a 4-in-1 Steam-Combi Oven (each, a “Fourth Prize”). Total ARV of all Fourth Prizes is $3,992.

Fifth Prizes: Ten (10) fifth prizes will be awarded, each consisting of a Robotic Vacuum (each, a “Fifth Prize”). Total ARV of all Fifth Prizes is $4,000.

Sixth Prizes: Twenty (20) sixth prizes will be awarded, each consisting of an Air Fryer XL HD927-91 (each, a “Sixth Prize”). Total ARV of all Sixth Prizes is $4,000.

Seventh Prizes: Twenty-five (25) seventh prizes will be awarded, each consisting of a Visa gift card in the amount of $100 (each, a “Seventh Prize). Total ARV of all Seventh Prizes is $2,500.

Total ARV of all prizes to be awarded is $31,054.

  1. Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
  2. Prize Restrictions: All prizes are non-transferable or assignable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion or as otherwise provided herein. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prizes. In the case of unavailability of any prize, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Each prize winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes, including taxes imposed on his/her income. No more than the stated number of prizes set forth in these Official Rules will be awarded. Potential Prize Winners consent to the use of his/her name, likeness, biographical information, testimonial, and voice in advertising worldwide without additional compensation.
  3. Privacy: By participating in the Sweepstakes, you hereby agree to Wei-Chuan USA’s collection and usage of your personal information. Wei-Chuan USA will retain your personal data for a reasonable period of time to enable it to send any prize that you may have won and to verify that these Official Rules have been complied with, and for accounting purposes. Additionally, you agree to receive promotional emails and reminders for upcoming promotions and information about Wei-Chuan USA. Any use of your personal data will be in accordance with, and subject to, Wei-Chuan USA’s Privacy Policy.
  4. Publicity: By participating in the Sweepstakes, except where prohibited by law, all Prize Winners grant Wei-Chuan USA permission to use their names, character, likeness, photographs, voices, testimonials, opinions and/or hometown and state world-wide, in perpetuity, in any and all media now known or hereinafter invented in any and all marketing and promotional materials and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such uses without further payment or consideration, notification, or permission. All Prize Winners agree that such uses may also be edited or used in derivative works, without Prize Winners’ participation, and that all such use shall be and remain the sole property of Wei-Chuan USA, its successors, assigns, and licensees.
  5. Release: No liability or responsibility is assumed by Sponsor resulting from your participation or attempt to participate in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for any errors in these Official Rules, the Sweepstakes materials, or the announcement of Prize Winners, including but not limited to such error that a prize may have been won. As a condition of entering, entrants (or their parent or legal guardian if an eligible minor) agree, and agree to confirm in writing: (a) to release Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, retailers, and agents, and the platforms on which the Sweepstakes is conducted including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Google, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents (“Sweepstakes Parties”), from any and all liability, loss or damage incurred with respect to the awarding, receipt, possession, and/or use or misuse of any prize; (b) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby knowingly and expressly waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses and/or any rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased; (c) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (d) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred (if any), excluding attorneys’ fees and court costs.
  6. General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If terminated, Sponsor may, at its discretion, select winner(s) for the drawing(s) at issue from among all non-suspect, eligible entries received for such drawing(s) up to time of such action or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other Sweepstakes or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages (including attorneys’ fees) and other legal remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
  7. Limitations of Liability: The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to, malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (4) other errors or problems of any kind relating to or in connection with Sweepstakes, whether computer, network, technical, mechanical, typographical, printing, human or otherwise, including, but not limited to, errors or problems which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes or in any Sweepstakes-related materials; (5) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, not received or stolen mail, entries, emails or other communications of any kind; or (6) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize (including any travel or activity related thereto). If for any reason an entrant’s entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Sweepstakes, if it is possible. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In the event that production, technical, seeding, programming, or any other reasons cause more than the stated number of prizes as set forth in these Official Rules to be available and/or claimed, Sponsor reserves the right to award only the stated number of prizes by a random drawing among all legitimate, unawarded, eligible prize claims.
  8. Disputes/Governing Law: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these rules, or the rights and obligations of any entrant or promotion entities in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, under the courts of Los Angeles County without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions which would cause the application or the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of California. Any action or litigation concerning this Agreement shall take place exclusively in the federal or state courts sitting in Los Angeles County, California, and you expressly consent to the jurisdiction of and venue in such courts and waive all defenses of lack of jurisdiction and inconvenient forum with respect to such courts. Any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. You agree to service of process by mail or other method acceptable under the laws of the State of California. ANY CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND/OR AWARDS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ENTERING THIS PROMOTION. YOU HEREBY WAIVE ANY RIGHTS OR CLAIMS TO ATTORNEY’S FEES, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ENTRANT, IDENTIFIABLE PERSONS, OR THIRD-PARTY PARTICIPANTS, WHETHER FORESEEABLE OR NOT AND WHETHER BASED ON NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE.
  9. Severability: If any provision of these Official Rules shall be held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law and the Sponsor’s fundamental intentions hereunder, and the remaining provisions shall not be affected or impaired, provided, however, that in such cases the parties oblige themselves to use their best efforts to achieve the purpose of the invalid provision by a new legally valid stipulation.
  10. Winners List: Beginning on or about September 30, 2022, you may obtain the name of the Prize Winners by going to Wei-Chuan USA’s website at www.weichuanusa.com.
