Cooking instructions

1

Cooking time may vary based on equipment and quantity cooked in equipment.

In a 12” non-stick frying pan, heat up neutral oil on medium heat. Add frozen dumplings arranged in a ring, flat side down. Fry until lightly browned.

2

Pour slurry in the spaces between the dumplings, making sure that the surface of the pan is covered completely. Cover and continue to pan fry until all the liquid has evaporated and you see a lacey layer develop, about 7 minutes.

3

Use a spatula to gently lift the edges of the dumplings, being careful not to break the layer. Gently shake the pan to ensure that the entire layer can move freely. Carefully invert onto a plate so that the squid ink lace is facing upwards.

4

Pipe spicy mayo into a spider web like design.

5

Must be cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F or above as measured by using a thermometer.

Garnish with thinly sliced scallions and black sesame seeds.
