In this recipe, we used a combination of two different proteins for an elevated flavor profile. The addition of a traditional Chinese ingredient, lotus root, delivers a high nutritional value to you. Filling

Lotus Root, Chicken, Pork, Water, Green Onion, Soy Sauce (water, wheat, soybeans, salt, sodium benzoate: less than 1/10 of 1% as a preservative), Soybean Oil, Sesame Oil, Less than 2% of Ginger, Salt, Chicken Broth Concentrate (chicken stock, natural flavor, salt, sugar, yeast extract, and chicken fat), Sugar, Garlic Powder, Modified Corn Starch, White Pepper.

Wrapper

Enriched Wheat Flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate,riboflavin, folic acid), Water, Modified Potato Starch, Less than 2% of Soybean Oil, Tapioca Starch, Egg White, Salt, Sorbitol.

Sauce

Soy Sauce (water, wheat, soybeans, salt, sodium benzoate: less than 1/10 of 1% as a preservative), Sugar, Water, Distilled Vinegar, Less than 2% of Crushed Chili, Ginger, Garlic, Sesame Oil, Garlic Powder, Citric Acid added as an acidulant.

Cooking Instructions

Must be Cooked to an Internal Temperature of 165°F as Measured by Use of a Thermometer

Pan Frying:

  1. Add about 1 tablespoon of cooking oil into a non-stick skillet.
  2. Place 12 frozen dumplings bottom side down into the pan and cook them at medium heat.
  3. Add 3 tablespoons of water to the pan, cover and simmer on medium heat for 7 minutes until the bottom of the dumplings turn golden brown.

Deep Frying:

  1. Preheat oil to 375°F
  2. Place 12 frozen dumplings in the heated oil and cook for 4 to 5 minutes until dumpling turn golden brown.

Boiling:

  1. Add 12 frozen dumplings into 8 cups of boiling water and stir.
  2. Cover and simmer on medium heat for 6 minutes.
  3. Remove the dumplings and serve.
