🍝🇮🇹Celebrate National Lasagna Day 🇮🇹🍝 From time to time, an ingredient swap needs to happen when you just don’t have what you need for your meal. Using Wei-Chuan USA dumpling wrappers to create this lasagna dish and turned out to be pretty good 👍🏼 🇮🇹🇮🇹 Mission accomplished!
Meat sauce:
Add 2 tbsp olive oil in a pan with medium heat
Sauté onions and garlic until transparent about 3-5 minutes
Add in ground beef cook until browned
Add tomato sauce and cook until no more running liquid
In a medium sized bowl, mix all ingredients well (ricotta, Parmesan and mozzarella cheese; egg and parsley)
Lay 4 WeiChuan dumpling wrappers with the edges over each other
Put meat sauce and cheese filling in the center of each wrapper
Use finger with some water to damp the edge of the dumpling wrappers. Fold over each dumpling wrappers and seal well
Roll the folded dumpling from right to the left and seal the end with some water
In a pan with medium heat, add 2 tbsp olive oil
Place rose dumplings onto the pan and pour water until about 1/3 the height of the dumplings
Cover the pan and wait until all water evaporated
Open the lid and wait until the bottom of the dumplings is golden brown
Serve pot stickers with generous portion of the tomato sauce
Garnish with some more fresh parsley and Parmesan
