Served best with a bloody delicious mango-peach sweet &amp; sour sauce    \ufe0f  <\/h6>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h6>Recipe created by @gastronamour<\/h6>\n<hr \/>\n<h6><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-2675 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.weichuanusa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/E6A3DA36-FA94-4FE4-8926-EF2CEB378219-min-scaled-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"558\" height=\"992\" \/><\/h6>\n<h6>Shrimp Spider Bites<\/h6>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>1 lb shrimp, cleaned <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>1 egg white, lightly beaten <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>1 TB fish sauce <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>1 tsp sugar <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>1\/2 tsp MSG <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>1 TB corn starch<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>1 tsp baking powder <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>1\/2 tsp sesame oil <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>1 TB neutral oil (&amp; additional for deep frying) <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00bd tsp white pepper <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Wrapper -Wei Chuan 6\u201d Spring Roll Sheets, thinly sliced -Black gel food coloring, diluted in water <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>METHODS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>*must be cooked to an internal temperature of 165\u00b0F or above as measured by using a thermometer<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Combine all shrimp bite ingredients in food processor &amp; pulse until combined but not over mixed. <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Prepare food coloring. Dilute in \u00bd cup of water to preference in color. Approximately 2-3 drops of gel coloring. <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Slice spring roll shells into \u00bd\u201d wide strips. <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Gradually mix food coloring with spring roll strips until desired color is achieved. Portion &amp; roll shrimp paste into balls about 1 Tb each.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> Roll &amp; cover balls with strips &amp; allow to set in fridge, 20 min. <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>In a saucepan, heat 2\u201d of neutral oil to 350\u00b0F. Fry shrimp bites in batches until golden brown, approximately 3-4 minutes.
