Add water and cover immediately. Cook until all of the water evaporates and the bottoms are golden brown. Flip buns and pan fry until the same color is achieved. Add garlic halfway through to avoid burning. Once caramelized, add seasonings, thyme, bay leaf, nutmeg, and deglaze pan with white wine. Once wine is cooked off, add AP flour and cook until flour is toasted and well combined. Add chicken stock and mix thoroughly to avoid flour lumps.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Assemble individual shallow ramekins placed on a baking sheet. Fill ramekins with soup and add pan-fried mini buns. Top with shredded gruyere cheese and place in broiler until cheese is melted and slightly browned. Garnish with microgreens if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy, carefully\u2026 Molten cheese and hot soupy dumplings are in your future.
