You can also sub the pork for any protein of choice.<!--more--><\/h5>\n<hr \/>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-2944\" src=\"https:\/\/www.weichuanusa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/E4D49E11-9958-49C6-B445-77FF85964A3D-min-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"388\" height=\"689\" \/><\/p>\n<h5>INGREDIENTS<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Wei-Chuan USA Lotus Leaf Buns, steamed<\/li>\n<li>3 lbs Pork Butt\/Shoulder, cut into large chunks<\/li>\n<li>1 Onion, chopped into large chunks<\/li>\n<li>4-6 cloves Garlic<\/li>\n<li>3 TB Fish Sauce<\/li>\n<li>2 TB Neutral Oil<\/li>\n<li>Water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>4 TB BBQ Rub*<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Yellow Mustard<\/li>\n<li>BBQ Sauce, to taste<\/li>\n<li>Fried Onions, for garnish<\/li>\n<li>Scallions, thinly sliced for garnish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SLAW<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Combine all ingredients in a bowl and allow to sit in the fridge to marinade.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 cups White &amp; Red cabbage, thinly shaved<\/li>\n<li>2 stalks Scallion, thinly sliced<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 c mayonnaise<\/li>\n<li>2 TB Whole Grain Mustard<\/li>\n<li>2 TB Sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp Kosher Salt<\/li>\n<li>2 TB Apple Cider Vinegar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>BBQ RUB<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 TB Kosher Salt<\/li>\n<li>2 TB Chili Powder<\/li>\n<li>2 TB Smoked Paprika<\/li>\n<li>1 TB Granulated Garlic<\/li>\n<li>1 TB Onion Powder<\/li>\n<li>1 TB Instant Espresso<\/li>\n<li>4 TB Light Brown Sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp Ground Cumin<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp Black Pepper<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp MSG<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-2941\" src=\"https:\/\/www.weichuanusa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/78BA71D6-C304-4DD0-A3FE-676149193055-min-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"425\" height=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>METHOD <\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Rub pork with mustard and BBQ seasoning. Sear in pressure cooker over medium-high heat with neutral oil until slightly scorched. Add aromatics, fish sauce, and enough water to cover meat. Bring to boil and skim before closing the pressure cooker. Cook for about 1hr.<\/li>\n<li>Remove pork from braising liquid. Shred pork and combine with BBQ sauce and additional BBQ rub as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Steam buns as directed on packaging. Fill buns with pulled pork, slaw, and top with fried onions and scallions.
