Transforms Wei-Chuan USA Frozen Mini Buns into CHEESEBURGER DUMPLINGS with the added crunch of a cheddar cheese skirt and a super zesty Special Sauce!! 🧀🧀🧀

Combine all special sauce ingredients in a bowl. Set aside.
In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, add neutral oil and arrange Mini Buns in a single layer on its flat end. Add 3 TB water and cover to steam.
Once water has evaporated, check to see if mini buns are still able to come off the pan without sticking. If it sticks, add a little bit more oil and move them around to thoroughly coat.
Sprinkle shredded cheese all over the buns while creating a border roughly 1” wide around the buns. Also making sure to get cheese between the crevices. Add more if needed. Cover again for 2 minutes.
Remove cover and check for even browning/caramelization of cheese. Oil will separate from cheese.
When edges are solid and crisp, turn off heat. Run a flat spatula around and under to ensure nothing is sticking to pan.
Place a plate that fits in the skillet on top of mini buns and invert skillet to transfer cheese and mini buns as one single layer.
Drizzle liberally with special sauce, green onions, and fried garlic.
