Tangy, spicy and sweet all in one bite.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-2980\" src=\"https:\/\/www.weichuanusa.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/DSC_0127-min-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Frozen vegetable gyoza dumplings 5-6<\/li>\n<li>1.5 tablespoons vegetable oil<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic<\/li>\n<li>1 cup chopped capsicum (green bell pepper) big chunks<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd tablespoon soy sauce<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon tomato ketchup<\/li>\n<li>2 to 3 teaspoons red chilli sauce<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon white vinegar<\/li>\n<li>1 to 1.25 cups water or vegetable stock<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd teaspoon black pepper powder salt to taste<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc to \u00bd teaspoon raw sugar to taste<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup cornflour slurry ( 1 tbsp cornflour+1\/4 cup water)<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon spring onion greens (scallion greens) for garnishing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-2982\" src=\"https:\/\/www.weichuanusa.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/DSC_0134-min-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Heat oil in a pan and add frozen dumplings, toss and turn till they are lightly fried, remove and keep aside.<\/li>\n<li>In the same pan, add chopped ginger and garlic, saut\u00e9 on high flame for 30 secs then add all the sauces and vinegar together, mix on medium heat, now add salt, sugar, black pepper and corn flour slurry, mix till it starts to thicken, add in bell peppers and toss on high flame for a minute, add more water if required. Once the sauce thickens, mix in the dumplings.<\/li>\n<li>Finally add some toasted sesame and chopped spring onions to garnish.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>*Cooking time may vary based on equipment and quantity cooked in equipment.
