Mei Jia Jen Wei Beef & Green Onion Dumpling

The Mei Jia Jen Wei beef dumpling with green onion is delicious. With a perfectly proportioned filling of ground pork and finely cut sweet onion creating a smooth and tender texture, all encased within house-made wrapping. Generous amounts of different cuts of fresh beef are lightly marinated based on an heirloom recipe, resulting in robust flavors evenly enveloped the dumpling and with the right tenderness.

Filling Ground Beef, Green Onion, Water, Less than 2% of Soybean Oil, Soy Sauce (water, wheat, soybeans, salt, sodium benzoate: less than 1/10 of 1 % as a food preservative), Sesame Oil, Ginger, Egg White, Monosodium Glutamate, Salt, Sodium Tripolyphosphate, Sugar, Disodium 5'-inosinate, Disodium 5'-guyanylate.
Wrapper Enriched Wheat Flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), Water, Tapioca Starch, Less than 2% of Gluten, Soybean Oil, and Salt.

Must be cooked to an internal temperature of 165° or above as measured by using a thermometer

  1. Boil 10 cups of water in a pot on HIGH
  2. Place one pack of frozen dumplings into the pot, stir gently with a spoon to keep dumplings from sticking at the bottom of the pot, and continue to cook with cover.
  3. Upon boiling, add 1st cup of cold water; cover and continue to cook with MED-HIGH heat.
  4. Repeat Step 3 with a 2nd cup of cold water, and again with a 3rd cup of cold water.
  5. Wait until water boils again. Remove the dumplings and serve.
